Haunted Locations "Leader of the light"

 I don't know about any of you but I love the paranormal, anything to do with ghosts. I believe in the paranormal, and as an agnostic, I believe in things until proven. This is either scientifically or by other experts. I watch all the different kinds of paranormal videos on youtube, and it makes me more curious about what is known as 'the other side. 

I have been doing my own research into the different locations in Manchester, that are haunted or have identified paranormal-like activity. As part of my research, I looked up the most haunted locations. The one that came up the most at the top is The Albert Hall. 

Methodist Church 1910

Let's go into some history of Albert Hall. In 1910, Albert Hall was known as The Chapel Hall. It was a methodist church. As you can see by the year, it was still up despite all the major events that had gone on such as; surviving the end of the Blitz and continuing right through to the second world war. In 2011, a nightclub was built two floors below the church. After a short while, the church closed and was unused for several years, it was closed from 1965 to 2013. During those years there was a man named Samuel Collier, who owned the church and he sadly died. When he died the church was closed for 9 years after that and was not opened again, until a few years ago when it turned into a music venue.

Now lets get into the juicy stuff. Paranormal activity has been going on in this church/music venue for many of years. But it has been proven to be paranormal. In the night club downstairs, it was called the Brannigan, there was suspicious activity. It was said by employees that their was poltergist activity which would be violent to staff...mainly women. This spirit/demon would pull on hair or even push around people. There was even one other random story of a little girl who was murdered there, and her scream taunts the very halls. 

But the main activity was this one spirit, and he was very very violent. In the club, sometimes he would smash over beer glasses or turn on and off the lights. The story was told that the spirit never liked the idea of young people and alcohol. Thats why owners now say it could as well possibly be the man who died not so long ago. He was known to be very protective of his church back then, and was very strict. The minister not only haunts the downstairs, but occasionally the upper floor. 

in the episode of Most Haunted,  Brannigans was investigated by multiple 

paranormal crew. This were to see if there was actual poltergist activity taking place. Derek was the person who was actually posessed by the spirit godfrey.   Derek who was leader of the seance and Carl, who was his colleague climbed inside the organ and started to experience temperature changes already. Carl described it as;

"A cold draft" 

it was decribed as negative and positive polarities. Derek was explaining what he was feeling in that moment, and it was like a pressue on the back of his neck. He described this curious concern as 

"a squeeze on his neck",

 just as if the spirit was trying to choke him.

During the documentary, Carl had told the audience that something had pushed him.

He had said "its like my legs refused to hold me". 

As they were recording they felt a massive thud amongst the floors, it was like an earthquake. At brannigan, a seance was conducted,the makers had told the audience that it was an unusal seance. it was unlike any they have done before. People in the group had said that, everyone was hearing things from completely different locations. Some people were hearing things from the organ, and another was behind me. 

One is the volunteers had said, "something is definitely in that left hand corner over there"...."i can hear it...something". 

Brannigans was an extraordinary experience as they had the whole crew joining in on the seance.

They called their strength together as "the power of prayer". 

One of the members in the group mentioned "the seances had to be conducted under the right conditions". what are those conditions?
